At Gerald & Sybil Cohen Family Foundation, we aim to make a lasting impact in providing scholarships for the next generation of students. Our focus is to provide scholarships to former IBI employees’ children and others so they can attend public colleges in the tri-state region.

Our Story

It is incredible how one small idea can grow into something truly special. Gerald & Sybil Cohen Family Foundation is rooted in the belief that we all have an inherent responsibility to make a meaningful difference for greater form Information Builders community. Gerald Cohen a co-founder of Information Builders Inc. attended City College of New York in the 1950’s on scholarship. Sybil Cohen attended Hunter college in the 1950’s on a scholarship. In a way of giving back to his employees, this organization will assist his former employee’s children and others to attend public colleges.
